The Story Behind The "Profriends Scandal"

It was our usual Friday morning. Clients came in to do their transactions, we assisted them. We did not know that something was about to happen.
A group of people came in, one by one. They sat at the waiting area while we went on our normal day.
A few minutes later, we noticed something odd about these clients – they were somewhat agitated. They then started gathering together like they could read each other’s minds. Forming into something we’ve seen before.
No. They are not our usual clients. They were close-minded and uncooperative.

It was around lunch time when they started to be unmanageable. The group started making orchestrated noises.
That’s what they were crying out. Our front liners tried to calm them down, but these 30 (14 IDENTIFIED, 16 REFUSED TO BE IDENTIFIED) people won’t. They continued shouting.. louder and louder, hoping that they’d be heard by our Chairman, Mr. Guillermo Choa.

“We asked for their names and their unit ID’s”

“Fourteen individuals from the group provided the information needed, however sixteen individuals did not even want to identify themselves.”

Despite our best efforts, we failed in attempts at calming them down. They still kept on shouting. It went on for several hours and their shouts could be heard all the way down to Tinio street.
This alarmed the neighbouring homes. Mr. RODOLFO M. POSADAS, the Brgy. Chairman of Brgy. Addition Hills, dropped by the office and tried to contain the situation. He gave his piece. He advised the group that what they are doing is wrong.
